Psychological therapy and support for children, adolescents and young adults.

Formal psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
ADHD assessments and support for children and adolescents. Please note that I do not currently offer Autism or Cognitive assessments.
School liaison and support planning/guidance.
Group education/professional learning sessions and workshops related to my areas of expertise.
ACC-funded therapy and assessment under the Sensitive Claims Service.

REFERRALS

Please self-refer by using the Contact Form or email me your request for support. Initially, all I need is your name, contact details, and a brief description of the support you are looking for. I will respond to confirm my availability, find out more about you and what you need, and then make arrangements to see you.

AVAILABILITY

Please contact me to inquire about my current availability as this does vary and I do not maintain a formal waitlist. I see clients on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the following locations:

Mondays - Selway House, 149 Papanui Road, Merivale, Christchurch
Wednesdays and Thursdays - RangiOra Centre, 13 Durham Street, Rangiora.

FEES FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT & THERAPY

Initial Consultation (90 minutes) $300
Therapy session (50 minutes) $220
Liaison with GP, school or other service providers $220 per hour

FEES FOR FORMAL PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT & WRITTEN REPORTS

Fees for formal mental health assessment (including ADHD assessment) are charged at my hourly rate of $220. Formal assessments (including a report) typically take around seven to ten hours to complete, with a total likely cost of $1500 - $2500. I am happy to give you an estimate of likely costs - please get in touch to discuss your needs.

PAYMENT

Payment for consultations, sessions and liaison will be invoiced to you later that day with payment expected within one day. For formal assessments, payment terms will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis with payment arrangements possible to spread the cost of the assessment. Please note that full payment will be required prior to your feedback session and provision of the assessment report and recommendations. Bank deposit and payment online via card are available.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel a booking, then please email me as soon as possible. I understand that unexpected things happen at times, however cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment may be charged the full fee.

URGENT & EMERGENCY SUPPORT

I am unable to offer urgent or emergency support, or support between appointments.

If you need to talk to or see someone about your mental health, then you can:

If you need urgent support, then please contact:
